Download GardenProjects with a camera frame open again
Fixed a problem where a Project with a camera frame could fail to open after updating to 0.2.2. Garden now opens your Project even when saved audio levels, the camera list, or cleanup from a previous session cannot be applied, and tells you what needs attention.
Garden for Windows
Garden now runs on Windows 11 with its video engine included. Its compact window controls share the workspace header, and the per-user installer can update in app. The first Windows installer is unsigned, so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning.
Stream Dock on Desktop and phone
Stream Dock has its own pane beside Live Hub and Sprout. Arrange its phone buttons in Desktop, scan the controller QR, and approve your phone before using the saved controls. The phone also links to your Garden account and moderator team.

Sprout can help with transitions, text and widgets, layer placement, and safe source creation. Its pane stays separate from Stream Dock.
Better camera and source editing
The camera frame uses native OBS masking and a true offline frame. Change the source of an existing camera, screen, or visual layer in place, with Undo available.
Smoother show setup
Transition maps stay open while you edit pairs. Widgets keep Project theme defaults with per-widget overrides, and the setup tour guides Twitch and YouTube connection with a manual path when needed.
More room to work
Larger rail icons, clearer Sprout and tour layouts, roomier Go Live and Record controls, and source warnings in the status footer keep the workspace focused.
Capture first when adding a source
Camera and Screen now appear above Widgets in the Layers add menu.
Alerts you can see while editing
The Alerts preview cycles through sample events. Each alert type has its own Style controls, and connected Twitch and YouTube accounts use compact status rows.
Widget styles that match their output
Brand, Hype meter, Join QR, Phone camera and the other widgets now show the Style controls their layouts use. Duplicate font choices are gone, and title case and weight change the rendered widget.
More room in the Inspector
Colors use compact chips with a picker and hex value on click. Panel values can be typed or dragged, and Fit, Center, Reset and alignment fit in one icon row.
A new Live Hub mark
Two overlapping chat bubbles now mark Live Hub, with the same gentle movement and dark overlap used by Garden and Sprout.
Make the Hype meter yours
Choose from 13 Hype meter layouts, tune its colors and type, and add celebrations that play inside the meter or across the whole scene.
Set up a new channel from Garden
After signing in with a new account, name your channel and choose its viewer link and join code in Garden Desktop. You can finish setup later without starting over.
More control over your phone camera
The Phone camera can show a connecting message, leave an empty frame, or disappear while offline. A transparent background lets the scene show through.
Scene transitions have room to work
Edit transition rules and their scene map in a separate window. Changes stay in a draft until you save them.
A cleaner editing space
Compact Go Live and Settings dialogs, clearer widget ordering, refined right-rail controls, and a sign-in timeout with a retry path keep setup and editing moving.

The update card has a What's new link that opens these release notes at the version you are about to install.
Skip the delete confirmation
Garden remembers when you choose Don't show this again while deleting a layer or scene. You can turn the confirmation back on in the General tab of Settings.
Undo deleted scenes
Undo restores deleted layers and scenes, including the layers in a scene. In dual-format projects, Undo restores both scene variants.
Projects open even with a missing source
Garden opens your saved project even when a camera is disconnected, a file was moved, a permission is off, or a saved window capture has changed. Those layers keep their settings, and a sources need attention tag tells you what to fix.
Clear reasons when a project can't open
If a project still can't open, the startup screen shows the reason and a Show log file button.
Stream keys from your account
Set up a Twitch or YouTube destination with one click. Garden fetches the stream key from your connected account, and you can still paste a key yourself.
Add goals, polls and hype in one step
Adding a goal, poll, hype meter or song vote puts it straight into the widget and on stream. There is no draft to pick afterwards.
Duplicate or start fresh
When you already have one, Add asks whether to duplicate it with its settings or start a new one.
Up to 20 of each
Keep up to 20 goals, polls, hype meters and song votes each, and up to 20 open to-dos. The counter shows how many you have.
Update download progress
When Garden finds an update, the status bar shows Downloading with a live percentage while it downloads. If the download fails it says Download failed instead of going quiet, and clicking the version tries again.
More room for your canvas
The Program title bar is gone, and the 16:9 and 9:16 switch now sits in the top header.
The real MapleStory leaf in the Store
The MapleStory tile and page now show the game's own maple leaf.
Stream info menu fits its content
A long platform message in the Go Live stream info menu now wraps instead of pushing the fields and Update button past the edge.
Sprout says hello
A one-time bubble next to the Sprout button offers help. Click it to ask Sprout, or dismiss it and it never comes back.
A Join QR viewers understand
The Join QR shows viewfinder corners and a passing scan line, and its headline rotates what scanning does: Scan to vote!, draw!, chat!. Codes still saying interact! switch to the new words.
Mirror your camera
Camera layers and the Phone camera have a Mirror switch that flips the picture left to right, like a selfie camera.
Tidier Join QR settings
The Settings tab keeps the words and scan guide. Layout, pattern, colors and logo moved to the Style tab.
Calmer first launch
On first launch the right rail starts collapsed, so Garden opens with the left bar, the stage and the audio mixer.
MapleStory in the Garden Store
A MapleStory stream pack with a HUD-aware gameplay layout, a Maple World theme, a Maple Grove BRB, and an animated backdrop with clouds, floating platforms, hopping mushrooms and falling maple leaves.
Align layers
Snap any layer to the left, right, top, bottom or center of the canvas from the Inspector or the layer's right-click menu.
Microphone meter works before going live
The audio mixer shows your voice level while offline, with green, yellow and red zones and a Too quiet, Good level or Too loud hint.
Check for updates from the status bar
Click the version number at the bottom left and Garden checks for a new version right away, then tells you it is up to date or starts downloading the update.
Gentler startup loop
On the loading screen the extra logo panels ease out and the original pair rebounds into place.
Restream logo in Settings
Restream shows its logo in Settings, and connection status labels are shorter and clearer.
Four-panel startup loop
The Garden logo on the loading screen loops four panels inside its mask while your workspace opens.
A launch window that fits your screen
Garden opens its window sized to the space available on your display.
Remote camera frames any camera
The Remote camera widget can now show an existing Camera source inside its shaped frame. Pick the Camera in the widget Inspector, or choose Phone camera to pair a phone as before.
Double-click to inspect
Double-clicking a component on the canvas opens it in the Inspector.
Faster widget restore
Widgets come back sooner when Garden opens a saved project, and the startup motion is smoother.
Sprout buttons fixed on macOS
Sprout's New Conversation and History buttons work again. The draggable window header no longer swallows their clicks.
Logo depth turn
The two panels inside the Garden logo alternate between their staggered dance and a depth turn while your workspace opens. Reduced motion keeps it still.
Animated startup logo
The Garden logo animates its two panels while the workspace opens, and the window appears before the local widget feed is ready.
New Sprout mark
Sprout has a new twin-star mark that stays clear in the toolbar and keeps its working animation.
Faster start
Garden shows its loading view sooner while the video engine starts. The editor, Settings and Store load only when needed.
Widget previews that fit
The Inspector's widget preview fills the pane and scales every widget to fit, so wide and tall widgets are no longer cut off.
A preview that stays in view
The widget preview stays pinned at the top of the Inspector while you scroll its settings.
Smoother widgets on the canvas
Titles, banners, tickers, hype meters and the other Garden widgets move at your screen's full frame rate in the editor.
Sprout gets Garden's mark
Sprout has a refreshed logo, and you can start a new Sprout conversation while connected.
A livelier update announcement
When a new version is ready, a card shows the animated Garden logo, the version you are moving to, and Restart & update or Later.
A solid Update now tag
The status-bar update tag is a solid green pill, so a waiting update is easy to spot.

An Update now tag appears in the status bar when a new version is ready. While you stream or record it waits and reads Update after live.
New versions arrive sooner
Garden checks for updates every hour and whenever you come back to it or wake your Mac.
The Store opens in its own window
The Store is the last tab in the right rail and opens the full Garden Store beside the editor.
Game logos
Every game in the Store shows its logo on its tile, in the sidebar and on its page.
Scene packs work with vertical output
With vertical output on, a pack adds its scenes to the format you are editing.
Smoother dragging
Moving a layer on the canvas no longer stops when the window briefly loses the pointer.
Arcade mode
Arcade replaces the BRB button. One click covers Program with the Arcade board and starts games your viewers play from their phones.
In-app updates
Garden downloads new versions in the background and asks before restarting to install them. Restart waits until you stop streaming and recording.
More reliable remote cameras
Remote cameras relay through a TURN server when a direct connection fails.
New look and installer
Garden has its new signal mark and a drag-to-Applications installer.
Garden for Mac
The first signed and notarized Garden Desktop for Apple Silicon, with the video engine included.
