Privacy Policy

Streamer Garden (“we”, “us”, the “Service”) lets streamers (“owners”) run audience interactions — polls, a hype meter, viewer Q&A, and on-stream drawings — that appear on their broadcast through an OBS overlay. Viewers join from their phones via a QR code. This policy covers the studio, the OBS overlay, and the viewer pages.

We aim to collect only what the Service needs to work:

• Account & channel data (owners). When a streamer signs in or a channel is created, we store account identifiers, channel settings, studio/overlay configuration, and the capability keys used to authenticate owners and moderators.
• Interaction content. Submissions made through the Service — poll votes, hype taps, questions, and drawings — along with the viewer-chosen display name or handle attached to them.
• Live session data. Ephemeral state such as current viewer counts and hype values, plus per-stream analytics samples (e.g. peak viewers and hype highs) used to generate stream recaps for the owner.
• Donations/tips (if enabled). If a channel connects a donation provider, we record donation events (amount, provider reference, and timestamp) to maintain a running total. Card and payment details are handled by the payment provider, not by us.
• Technical data. Standard server and connection information (such as IP address and browser/user-agent) used to operate the realtime service, apply rate limits, and keep the Service secure.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and the Service is not directed to children.

• To provide the Service — run interactions, render the overlay, and keep live state in sync.
• To let owners moderate and approve what appears on their stream.
• To produce per-stream recaps and growth analytics for the owner.
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits.
• To maintain donation running totals where a channel has enabled donations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use interaction content to build advertising profiles.

When you interact with a stream, your submission and chosen display name are shown to the streamer and may appear on their public broadcast. Do not include personal or sensitive details in questions, names, or drawings. The streamer — not Streamer Garden — controls what is approved and shown on screen.

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• With service providers who host our infrastructure, database, and (if enabled) process donations, under contractual confidentiality.
• With the streamer whose channel you interact with (for the content you submit to that channel).
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the Service.
• As part of a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition), subject to this policy.

We keep account and channel data for as long as a channel is active. Live session state is ephemeral and is not retained after a stream ends, while recap/analytics samples and donation records are retained to provide historical insight and accurate totals. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed for these purposes.

Access to the Service is capability-based: owners authenticate with an owner key and moderators with scoped tokens. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Owners can edit or remove channel content from the studio. For other requests, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be made reasonably prominent.
